Carlton Nicholls 1948 - 1979

Carlton "Tiny" Nicholls, 2 Maple Ridge Court, owner of the Century Club restaurant, died Friday at Methodist Hospital, St. Louis Park, after a long illness. He was 31.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Rev. John Ward officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.

He was born March ll, 1948, in Ironwood, Michigan and married Dorothy Johnson in Mankato, November 27, 1971. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, one daughter, Kari Beth, at home, his mother, Elizabeth Nicholls, Illinois, one sister Connie Wingert Illinois, two brothers, Russell Nicholls, Jr., Nebraska, and Randy Nicholls, Minneapolis; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

Carlton F. Nicholls died in 1979 (age 31) in Hennepin County, Minnesota. In 1971 Carlton married Dorothy M. Johnson, and she passed away in 2014 in Reno, Nevada.

I remember Carlton when he first moved to Mankato and his home with his mom was North Manksto. He attended Holy Rosary School. Very nice and a favorite grade school classmate. His mom was a very nice lady who lived close to my Grandma. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing.
