DIANA'S OBITUARY

Diana Lutter, age 72, of Mankato, died on June 22, 2022 at her home.

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Eagle Lake Cemetery with military honors provided by the Mankato Area Veterans Memorial Squad.

Diana Lynn, the daughter of Oscar and Darlene (Boom) Lutter, was born on September 14, 1949 in Mankato. She received a one-year secretarial degree from Mankato State College in 1970. In 1971, Diana served as a Communication Center Specialist in the United States Air Force was honorably discharged in 1975. She moved to Rochester, MN where she was a Clerk Typist for Mayo Clinic while obtaining her Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from Rochester Junior College in 1979. She was also previously employed at Pacific Bell Telephone and was a secretary to the Program Managers of government offices at Sunnyvale AFS and Los Angeles AFB and most recently was employed for the Space Systems Division in California. Diana enjoyed reading books, watching sports and listening to Elvis.

She is survived by her siblings, Sylvia Runge of Mankato, Mike Lutter of Eagle Lake, Jeanie (Michael) Taylor of Colorado Springs, CO, Richard Lutter of Mankato, Paul (Sheryl) Lutter of Janesville, Kim (Gary) Mosher of Detroit Lakes, Lisa Reyes of Colorado Springs, CO, LaVon Winslow of North Mankato, and Jeff Lutter of Eagle Lake; many nieces and nephews; uncles, Donald (Sharyl) Boom and Harlan (Mary Ann) Boom of Fulda; and aunt, Edith Boom.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Lutter; and uncle, Eldon Boom.
