San Francisco -- Jane Thomas 1949 - 1980

Jane A. Thomas, 31, of San Francisco and formerly of Mankato, died from injuries suffered in antomobile accident Monday afternoon near Point Arena, California.

Private family services will be at the First Presbyterian Church chapel, Mankato, the Rev. Gerald Wise of South Central Ministry of Minneapolis officiating. Burial will be in Cambria Cemetery. The Johnson-Boman Mortuary, Mankato, is in charge of arrangements.

Miss Thomas was born August 10, 1949, in Mankato, to Vern and Jean Thomas. She had been employed as a secretary in California since her graduation from Mankato High School in 1967.

Survivors include her mother, Jean Thomas, North Mankato; a twin sister, Joan (J. Lonny) Hughes, rural Lake Crystal; sister Tami Thomas, at home; three nieces; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Earl Robinson, Amboy; and aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father in 1954, and by her paternal grandparents.
