Barbara Mueller (Hilburn)

Everytime I read that a classmate has passed away, I find myself not believing it.  We are still too young, in my mind.  So it is with much sympathy that I enter my condolences to Mark's family.  I did not know Mark well, but he happened to be in my speech class in high school, and he made a lasting memory upon me.  He gave really well-thought-out speeches, for a high school kid!  But what I remember him for the most, was when we needed to give a speech about current culture.  I gave a rendition concerning fashion in the 60's.  It went pretty well, I thought.  Until I sat down, and Mark leaned over and whispered, "I liked that article too, when I read it in the fashion magazine."  Gosh, I was caught plagiarizing......and in the kindest of ways.  He did not call it to anyone else's attention.  I would call that a real gentleman!  What a kind spirit!   Much sympathy, Barb Mueller Hilburn
